                                        History

This Grand residence was originally constructed in 1865 by the second physician to arrive in the small, historic town of Whiteville, NC.  Dr. Isaac Jackson sold the home to the Thompson family in the early 1900's. The Madison House was opened to receive guests as a Bed and Breakfast in 2001.
